Synopsis

A boy and a girl are coming to the end of their first date. As they head away from an art exhibition, a challenge is set: walk the girl home without touching the floor! It’s not just benches and people that they find themselves negotiating but each other, too. Both the boy and the girl have their own secrets, but can they put the past behind them for the sake of their future? And can they stop playing games and be honest with each other?

Synopsis

Nicholas Angel is the finest police officer London has to offer, with an arrest record 400% higher than any other officer on the force. He's so good, he makes everyone else look bad. As a result, Angel's superiors send him to a place where his talents won't be quite so embarrassing - the sleepy and seemingly crime-free village of Sandford. With garden fetes and neighbourhood watch meetings replacing the action of the city, Angel struggles to adapt to his situation and finds himself partnered with Danny Butterman (Nick Frost), an oafish but well meaning young Constable. Just as all seems lost, a series of grisly accidents motivates Angel into action. Convinced of foul play, Angel realises that Sandford may not be as idilic as it seems. Incapacity is a film about the young and free in the 21st century - A generation, which despite the new opportunities available, doesn’t actually seem all that free. A generation that is told to go to school, in order to go to university, in order to get the degree which can get you the job. But what happens then? Middle-aged Maggie must find a way to get enough money for her grandson's lifesaving medical treatment. Filmmaker Julien Temple chronicles the transformation of a self-described 'mouthy little git', born John Mellor, into an antiestablishment icon known to the world as Joe Strummer. In his latest documentary, Temple uncovers the myth behind the front man of the seminal punk band the Clash. Through previously unearthed interviews with Strummer himself and recollections of those who knew him best, Temple reveals a complex man who used his music as a bullhorn for his conscience, as well as a means to educate others about the injustices of the world. The film includes live concert footage spanning Strummer's career and tapes of his BBC radio program, all of which provide a fitting soundtrack to his distinctive and storied existence.
