Synopsis

This is the story of Joseph and Ria, two kindred spirits who forge an unlikely friendship. Synopsis

David Blair directs this powerful British Drama, loosely inspired by John Steinbeck's novel 'Of Mice and Men'. Set in Nottingham, the film revolves around the relationship between the thuggish Danny and Joseph, a giant of a man with a mental age of seven. When Danny finds himself in debt to a local crime boss, he feels he is left with no choice but to manipulate Joseph into participating in a series of underground cage fights from which Danny can pay his debts.

Darren Daniels is a handsome, charismatic and deeply insincere television presenter whose hit show 'Tabloid TV' uncovers the darkest secrets of even the most virtuous celebrity guest. Such is the kudos of the show, that despite these personal revelations, star guests keep coming.

Life is wonderful, the show's ratings are high, until one fateful night when Darren is introduced to malevolent criminal Vince, and is encouraged to take part in a kinky sex game with two stunning glamour models. The tables are finally turned and the joke is on Darren, who cannot escape the skeletons in his own cupboard.

Synopsis

Quintessential English aristocrats Lord and Lady Foxley, decide to take in corporate hospitality to ease their financially straitened circumstances. On the day their guests are due to arrive, the agency replacements for their butler and cook do not turn up and, determined that no one should know their situation, they are forced to assume the roles themselves. To make matters much worse, the corporate clients turn out to be Global Heresy, America's hottest young rock band over in the UK to rehearse and kick off their World tour. The ensuing culture clash has hilarious consequences.

Synopsis

The Pannicks are like any other dysfunctional family. Lucy Pannick drinks, her son Jim steals cars, her grandmother forgets to put her clothes on and her learning disabled brother, Sandy, runs model trains in his room all night. But when the mysterious and well-spoken Donovan Quick takes up residence as their new lodger, things will never be the same again.





When the multi-national bus company Windmill Transport takes over the local trains and leaves Sandy with no way to get to his day centre, Donovan starts up a one-bus company with Sandy to replace the lost service. Against all odds, the fledgling Quick and Pannick Buses becomes so successful that the ever-voracious Windmill Transport decides to poach the route for itself.





Donovan Quick, however, doesn't turn out to be the pushover Windmill Transport thought he might be. And, like his inspiration Don Quixote, Donovan manages to thwart Windmill at their own game, galvanising the community and transforming forever the lives of Lucy, Jim, Gran and Sandy Pannick in the process.
