Synopsis

Middle aged Gavin, who has never been able to read or write properly or even keep a steady job, reaches a turning point in his life when his violent outbursts cause his relationship to break up. The only way he can win her back is to face up to his problems and ultimately turn his life around.

An intimate and revealing documentary featuring Whitstable artist John Butterworth. John was predominantly an abstract artist until the untimely death of his brother Charles left him devastated and disconnected from his early work. No longer able to relate to the intangible nature of his art he began a series of figurative paintings that featured people falling from the sky. Synopsis

Keva McCluskey, lead singer of UK indie band The Grams is the real deal. A genuine artist who is tortured by his own craft and his past. Keva is smacked with injustice when their inferior rivals Transbad Saints, led by the preposterous Helmet Horrocks, hit the headlines. But a fortuitous meeting with society Trustafarian Guy de Burret boots the unsuspecting Grams straight into the harsh limelight. Helmet can't accept this and the battlelines are drawn.

The Grams camaraderie is soon rent asunder, as a bewildering host of journalists, music moguls and parasites works its sinister magic. Keva has to confont his demons as The Grams have to fight to save their minds, their bodies and their friendship. They win, lose and ultimately, win again in this bacchanalian tale of sex, drugs. Erica (Amanda Fuller) lives rent-free in the local co-op, but spends her nights trawling the bars and beds of Austin. Father Jack Gillie (Daniel Brocklebank) enters prison a guilty man, convicted for a crime that sees the Church abandon him, his congregation desert him and his faith challenged. His fellow inmates believe he's been convicted of paedophilia and begin to plant the seed of doubt into the mind of his teenage cellmate, Rook (Wayne Virgo). After rescuing Rook from a beating Jack now becomes the inmates prey. Protection comes in the unlikely form of a prison officer, Martin (Garry Summers) with whom Jack falls in love and together they embark on a dangerous and illicit affair behind cell doors. As trust forms between the two men so Jack feels enabled to confess the truth behind the crime for which he has been imprisoned. Emboldened by Jack's honesty the two men plan their lives together post Jack's release.

Prison gang leader Max (Bernie Hodges), however has ulterior objectives and sets about ruining this relationship and manipulates the Governess, Heather (Dymphna Skehill), into suspending Martin for misconduct after disclosing the affair. Alone and vulnerable Jack is now tormented and hunted by Max who takes revenge on him for his crime.

Waking from the near fatal actions of Max, Jack keeps his head down and bides his time comforted by letters of love and support from Martin - delivered with disgust and loathing by one of Martin's colleagues. With the end of his sentence in sight Jack readies himself for a new life and a new beginning with Martin. The only obstacle to this tabula rasa remains Max and Father Elliott (Dave Jones) the Church's messenger sent to establish what Jack's intentions are once free.

Resurrecting 'The Street Walker' tells the story of James R Parker, a wannabe filmmaker who happens upon an abandoned horror movie in the basement of the London production company for whom he is working as intern.

Spotting an opportunity to get noticed and maybe even make some money, James sets out to complete this long forgotten, unfinished, video nasty, sparking a chain of events which culminate in an act of terrible and shocking violence. Taking the form of multi-layered faux documentary, this is a study in obsession, unchecked ambition and a descent into madness.
