Forget the MTV-sponsored images of ghetto superstars and bling - South Coast is a quintessentially British take on hip hop 30 years after it emerged from the Bronx block parties. Three years in the making; this character-driven documentary features a host of engaging characters including Norman Cook (aka Fat Boy Slim), notorious Train Painter, Aroe and irrepressible MC, Buzz; break-dancers on Brighton's pebbled beach; Brighton's first gay rap crew, grimy MCs in word battles with poets; graffiti art galleries, and laid back but incisive rhymes about British seaside life.

Springsummer is a digitally treated short film documenting Kei Kagami's Spring/Summer 04 collection.

Fashion photographer Enamul and graphic designer Matt Moate have previously worked together on numerous photographic projects but this film represents their first collaboration in moving image.

Springsummer seeks to explore the emotive undercurrents of Kagami's groundbreaking work in a delicate fusion of imagery and abstraction played out to a blistering original soundtrack by sound designer Rob Mullender.

Tanju Miah opens in a misty landscape in rural Bangladesh, where a young boy waits for his mother. "I'm about eight or nine", he says in a voice-over. "When I grow up I want to become a rich man, by singing". He waits and works, and sometimes sings.

Director Sadik Ahmed uses a series of graceful scenes to build a psychologically complex portrait of a child who might otherwise disappear into statistics. His bosses call him Blacky. "But in my village", he says, "my real name is Tanju".

The Journalist and the Jihadi tracks the parrallel lives of Daniel Pearl the Wall Street journalist and the Islamic jihadi Omar Sheikh. Both men were highly educated and came from priviliged backgrounds and both passionately committed to fixing the wrongs of the world. One was born in the US and the other in London. September 11 changed the world and put these two on a path that would eventually end in tragedy. The film documents the events leading to Daniel's gruesome murder and the way his death is still affecting his family.

'Mister Jim' is how the employees respectfully addressed their boss Jim Hardy, the last Hardy to work in the family business and now retired. It was Jim's Grandfather and Greatuncle, who in 1873 opened a small shop in the far north of England. Both passionate fisherman, they invented fishing tackle and began to sell it. Their skill, devotion, and innovative marketing strategies allowed them to conquer the world. The name Hardy's has now been synonymous with fishing for 130 years. Vintage Hardy's handmade tackle stirs the heart of many a fisherman with Prince Charles amongst the enthusiasts, these are now prized collectors items.
Today the skills involved in hand made fishing tackle are dying although the company does survive. Under Hardy's and Grey, Richard Sanderson, current managing director has adapted the company to the modern world, made redundancies and transferred most of the production to China.

Mister Jim takes us on a journey through fast fading times to recreate this charming old family business loved the world over. We follow through changing times and the struggle to survive as a sustainable business in a modern world. Are the original values the Hardy Brothers held dear all now lost in our modern world of capitalist globalisation?

In the summer of 2004, on a car journey in Eastern Europe, Pavla Fleischer met and fell in love with Eugene Hutz, lead singer of New York's Gypsy Punk  band Gogol Bordello. Captivated by his energy and his musical verve, and desperate to get to know him better, she decided to make a film about him.

The Pied Piper of Hutzovina follows Eugene and Pavla on their subsequent  road trip through Eugene's home country, Ukraine.
It is the story of two people traveling together on two very different courses. Her aim is to rediscover a forgotten romance; his is to rediscover his roots. She hopes to find love on the road; he hopes to find musical inspiration from the gypsy culture he is determined to preserve. This is an intimate portrait of a filmmaker with a passion for
her subject, and a punk musician with a longing to revisit his past. Theirs is a journey which tests their relationship and challenges their perceptions of the music they both love.
