Synopsis

A young tooth fairy (11) called Tooth gives away a guzillion dollars and bankrupts Christmas and all of Fairytopia. She enlists the help of Tom and Tolly Wallit (6) to retrieve the money. However, the three find that money is not the answer when they meet Mrs Claus (Santa's wife) and convince her to return to Fairytopia, bringing magic back with her.

After a helicopter crash in a remote Canadian lake, Sean Cambell (Bruce Greenwood - I, Robot, Thirteen Days), an oil company trouble-shooter is called in with his high-tech mini-submarine to help retrieve a unique drill head. For his disappointed ten-year-old son Mac, the news means postponing yet another Florida vacation with his father. But when they arrive at Mrs Coogan's (Phyllida Law - Emma, Time Machine) guesthouse, Mac soon learns of a legendary creature that supposedly lives in the lake! Utterly intrigued, Mac teams up with a cute little Native-American girl called Pawnee and they go in search of the monster, urged on by the sight of a woman known as 'Crazy Norma' (Rena Owen - The Crow: Wicked Prayer, Once Were Warriors) - throwing whole salmon into the water to 'feed the creature'.
 
When Mac is trekking through the woods by the lake, he slips and falls in to the water and nearly drowns. Amazingly, he is rescued by something huge, which buoys him up to the surface. Convinced that it was the creature, Mac locates his cave and finally comes face to face with the huge, frightened water giant, MEE-SHEE! And a very special friendship begins.
 
Within days, a rival oil company arrives in an attempt to steal the drill, and soon these money hungry villains realise that the drill is not the only prize from the lake they need to take home with them. Mac must find a way to save his newfound friend, but first he must convince his father that the creature is real, which is not as easy as he'd hoped.
 
In a dramatic climax with MEE-SHEE, Mac and his father in grave danger, is there anything else lurking in the lake to come to their rescue?

Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) has not had a good summer. Then, suddenly and mysteriously, house-elf Dobby appears in Harry's bedroom and warns him of great danger if he should attempt to return to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Dobby is so eager to prevent the young Gryffindor from returning to Hogwarts, he has blocked all of Ron and Hermione's correspondence from reaching Harry. But despite the elf's mischievous efforts, the ever-determined Harry is rescued from the Dursleys' dreary clutches by Ron and his brothers - with the aid of a flying car! - and whisked into the warmth of the Weasley household.
But when Harry and Ron are suspiciously prevented from entering Platform 93/4 and boarding the Hogwarts Express back to school, the boys take emergency action to avoid being late for the new term - only to incur the wrath of Professor Snape (Alan Rickman), who calls for their expulsion after they crash the flying Ford Anglia into Hogwarts' enchanted Whomping Willow tree.
Meanwhile, news of Harry's first year heroism has spread throughout Hogwarts and he finds himself the centre of much unwanted attention. Synopsis

Set in South Yorkshire, An Angel for May tells the tale of schoolboy Tom who is transported from the present to the time of the Second World War. Tom's time tunnel is a burnt out fireplace in the ruins of an old farm yard and his time travel guide is a sheepdog called Tess.

Tom finds himself in the same farm yard, but it's the 1940s and the farm is thriving. The farm is run by salt of the earth Sam Wheeler who is looking after orphaned evacuee May. Tom develops an immediate and strong friendship with May. Others Tom meets in the 1940s are housekeeper Susan Higgins, Sam's daughter Alison and the vigilant local bobbie PC Clegg.

In the present day Tom's mother Barbara is separated from Tom's father and wants to marry Bob Harris. Tom is not happy with his mother's plans for re-marriage. In Tom's present day world are his next door neighbour and an old beggar woman Rosie. Stories in both time frames are intricately told and interwoven.

Unbeknownst to Tom, each night while he reads these stories, Crystal, a real fairy, is also listening, enjoying the stories as much as Melissa. One night, during story time, Crystal is thrown from the windowsill. Chased by the family dog, she crashes straight into a tree. Her tiny fairy body morphs into human size.
