Synopsis

Two couples from East London travel to the seaside to enjoy a day out at the beach. They reflect on their memories whilst observing that Brighton has changed and that society is also changing too.

The story takes place over one weekend in London. Cordelia lives with her twin sister, Caroline in a basement flat in Central London. Once a promising actress, an event in Cordelia’s past changed her outlook and emotional state. Her gradual move towards independence is placed into jeopardy, however, when her sister leaves with Matt, her boyfriend, for a weekend away. Seemingly able to cope at first, the weekend becomes overwhelming for Cordelia and she begins to unravel, regressing back to the state of confusion she has tried so hard to repress ever since surviving that terrible event many years ago.

Nicola, a successful actor, agrees to play Lucio Fulci in a biopic dedicated to the director. The actor begins a journey to discover Fulci man, so that he can interpret it in the best way. He will meet his daughters, friends, collaborators of the director, and the most profound scholars of Fulci's work. He will have access to new and unseen materials. Nicola, divided between the preparation of the film and the study of the character, will deeply question the true nature of a man who, already in life, had rewritten his biography. A biography in which myth, creation and legend have rewritten an exhilarating and dramatic life.

GO MAKE MEMORIES is a short film which hopes to raise awareness of the ultra-rare and devastating group of genetic conditions, Niemann-Pick Disease (NPD). The experiences of the individuals and families affected by NPD takes centre stage in this production, which uses a mixture of live action and animation to explore the impact this rare condition has on those affected by it. The film follows the deterioration of the child and the subsequent emotional turmoil that comes hand in hand with such a diagnosis...especially when this is followed up with the suggestion by the family's doctor to simply, "Go Make Memories"...
