Synopsis

A disturbing psycho-sexual thriller which, through a highly plotted story, examines how easily we can manipulate, and be manipulated, by the ones we love. Using genetic engineering as a metaphor for the atrocities committed in the concentration camps, TRINITY explores the potentially disastrous consequences of searching for perfection in the human form. A young female officer, Schiller, is accompanied by her ex-lover, superior officer Brach, on a mission to recover a rogue geneticist Doctor Clerval. Together they investigate a distress signal from the gene camp in which Schiller was incarcerated. So begins their entanglement in a deepening web of convolution, doubt and deceit.

Synopsis

The main characters, Jim and Duncan, are both unemployed, but always seem to have money. Newly returned from a Spanish holiday, Jim is sporting a fresh deep cut to his head, through misadventure during his holiday. They befriended a Spanish couple when returning back to Scotland, where they now live. The couple invite Jim and Duncan back to their house for a small party. During the party the Spanish man starts to film with his video camera. As the night progresses the Spanish couple retire to their bed, drunk and tired. This is when you start to see Jim and Duncan for who they really are, and the reason why they're at the party. They gather up their hosts' belongings, including the video camera, and leave with them.

From this point onwards we explore the sometimes funny, but twisted world in which they live. They seek disturbing delights and highs in the form of mugging, theft and housebreaking, recording everything they do, on the stolen camera. Jim is still very annoyed about the cut on his head, after his affections for a married woman while on holiday were not received well by her husband. Jim only has revenge in mind.

Synopsis

Mikey decides to cleverly turn the tables on the killer and hold everyone in the club hostage.

Using techniques he has learnt on his life-changing course, he begins to seek out the identity of his mysterious assassin. Although Mikey may be able to deal with his killer in the club that night he may not be able to eventually deal with himself.

Twelve year old Chloe is sick of moving house. As soon as they get settled in one place, her Mum gets in trouble and they have to move to another cold, run-down Burnley council house. Mum, Chloe and brother Gary, are driven to the new estate by wise-cracking Neil, who takes a shine to Chloe's Mum. As they bundle their few possessions into the house, Chloe meets Kelly, their sparky next door neighbour who is her age.

Kelly and Chloe strike up a friendship, talking about boys, sharing cigarettes and Kelly introduces Chloe to lighter-fuel sniffing. At home, Chloe gets constantly picked on by Gary. Her mum does nothing to help; she is too wrapped up in her drinking and depression. From her bedroom window Chloe begins to notice the older boy over the way. His name is Lee and the two of them find they have their bad home lives in common.

One night Chloe witnesses Lee being beaten up by his dad. The next thing she knows, Lee pulls up outside in a stolen car. He is running away and Chloe begs to come with him. They go, but Chloe ends up being picked up by the police and taken home.

Things go from bad to worse and Chloe deteriorates fast. Finally Chloe has had enough. She leaves and there's hope in her eyes. She is getting away before it is too late.

Synopsis

50-year old Sharkey travels to Bosnia with a false identity and under the disguise of a UNICEF envoy. In fact, he is engaged in the illicit trade of smuggling children into Western Europe. Sharkey has been sent to Vitosice by a Polish lawyer in order to pick up a small boy. But his contact in Vitosice has been murdered and the boy he was sent to collect is not there. Sharkey runs into an army patrol. The Colonel in charge forces Sharkey to take his daughter out of Bosnia to her family in Germany. A gang of youths blows up their jeep with a landmine which kills the Colonel's daughter. Sharkey and the Colonel survive. Shortly after the incident, Sharkey stumbles on the gang of youths, beats their leader in a game of cards and wins a child. Next morning the 10-year old Vlado and Sharkey set off to Poland.

In an old vehicle they travel through war-torn Bosnia, not knowing that the Colonel, who wrongly blames his daughter's death on Sharkey, is close behind them. On their way out of Bosnia, Sharkey and Vlado gradually develop a friendship.
