Synopsis

A car idles at the end of a dirt track, its headlights pointing out into the forest. Inside: two women. The Redhead has a gun. She idly, but dangerously, holds it on the Blonde girl beside her. Redhead does most of the talking. Blonde's eyes dart in quiet fear as she hears about what her 'faithful' man has been up to. With Redhead. Not just sex, but business. Lucrative. And criminal. He's not the man Blonde thought he was. Jesus, that's an understatement. Is Redhead telling the truth? Is Blonde in this situation simply because Redhead changed her mind and doesn't want to share the spoils of the last job they did together? A simple hostage handover? Or is it even simpler: Redhead wanted him all to herself and he said no. Revenge. Either way, he's late arriving. And Redhead's trigger-finger is beginning to twitch.

Synopsis

A mercenary spaceship ferrying a convict is attacked by a horde of unidentified fighter craft. Forced to abandon their crippled ship the survivors land on 'The Planet'. Soon they discover that they are not alone, as they battle to survive they begin to fall prey to a malevolent force. A force which turns the souls of their fallen comrades against them. Forming a rescue plan the survivors race to carry it out while they still can. Unknown to the team, the prisoner is also on the planet and his presence there could change the universe as they know it, forever.

Synopsis

The Vampires of Bloody Island is a cult British vampire comedy that injects a strong modern humour into the classic vampire films of the Hammer generation. In her crumbling castle clinging to the rocks of a Cornish island, a vampire noblewoman, Morticia de'Ath (Pamela Kempthorne), aided by an unconventional alchemist Dr N. Sane (John Snelling) and a resurrected corpse, Grunt, (Leon Hamilton) makes a radical scientific discovery of importance to vampires worldwide. To complete her mission, Morticia commands her dead manservant to lure two innocent soft drink sellers from London towards the deeply superstitious village of Bloody Bay, and the much feared Bloody Island. Morticia ensnares the pair but is interrupted by the vampire hunter (and ex-window cleaner) Professor Van Rental (Oliver Gray). Morticia revives her vast and heavily armed vampire army and engages in two similtanious battles: one large, loud and bloody, the other small and deeply personal!

Synopsis

2015, the last known oil fields have been vanquished by corporation run governments throwing the world into disarray. Out of this apocalyptic nightmare the corporations embark on a course of action to cull the human race and initialise a depopulation programme.   But the scientists tasked with this heinous act revolt, thus creating a drug that will keep the human race alive. But with no time to test the drug, humans are left in a state far worse than death. Reduced to a primitive ape-like state, their only instinct is to kill. For they are no longer human, but 'Biosyns'. Cast adrift to survive alone in the wilderness, Max has learnt to become a hunter/gatherer, living off the land, but under constant threat from the Biosyns. He has forged a life without human contact, a young man living from moment to moment. Soon he learns that the Biosyns are learning to communicate, and are banding together to become the new dominant race, and then Max will have to face a greater number than ever before. So when he encounters a 'Tracker' (genetically enhanced POWs from the oil wars) his first instinct is to kill him. Surviving the attack, the Tracker reassesses his original mission - track down and kill Max - to take him south to safety - as the Corporation believe Max’s blood may contain the antidote to the Biosyn Holocaust. And now, if Mankind is to survive, then Max must undertake an odyssey fraught with rampaging Biosyns and deadly Trackers.

This story takes placed somewhere between the present and the future. Loosely set within the science fiction genre we enter a time when the government have declared societies urban youth as out of control and in need of readjustment. Sighting the medias glamorisation and endorsement of images of cultural resistance, namely hip-hops 'ghetto fabulous' aesthetic as a root cause of the problem, a new antisocial law has been decreed. It has been declared that any unruly youth must be rounded up and literally reprogrammed in order for them to fit more harmoniously into current society. The idea is to first remove from their mind images associated with the 'ghetto fabulous' culture and then implant a microchip containing a standardised alternative that allows them to quietly reintegrate.
