Synopsis

NOW AGAIN is the first filmic interpretation of Marcel Proust's entire novel 'À la recherche du temps perdu'. Part Three encompasses the volumes of SODOM & GOMORRAH. Filmmaker Richard Philpott stretches narrative form into rich and varied experimental territories, providing a visual feast and sonic immersion, using AI and unique digital production techniques, to reveal the vast panoramic structure of Proust's great masterwork and provide a 21st century foundation for this timeless 20th century epic.

Synopsis

Filmmaker Patrick Hough journeys through the haunted landscapes of Ireland, where colonial violence, ecological loss and queer desire remain inscribed in the land. Moving between forests, mountains, archives and cruising grounds, the film traces the extinction of the Irish grey wolf alongside the cultural suppression that followed Cromwellian conquest of Ireland. Fragments of history surface through objects and places: a death mask of Oliver Cromwell, medieval myths of werewolves, maps drawn to measure and divide conquered territory, and landscapes where wolves were once hunted to disappearance. These materials are interwoven with contemporary nocturnal scenes of queer gathering and protest, where shame gives way to transformation, pleasure and resistance. Bel was a Kenyan-Scottish woman who dreamt of singing to the whole world. A gifted musician, singer, and writer, she performed under the stage name Heir of the Cursed and in 2021 was on the absolute cusp of wider fame. But just as the world was finally about to discover her name, Bel took her own life, leaving behind poignant video diaries and a mobile phone full of amazing, unreleased songs. She was a brilliant artist fighting to be heard, yet she remains largely unknown today. Her untimely death and a small but beautiful body of work form her legacy now. Synopsis

The making of an investigation and creation of intelligence and how far free speech allows this intelligence to be presented and conveyed. There are two biographical stories intertwined, one of James Hogan and the other of the author. James Hogan created intelligence and advised accordingly and the other; the author, desperately sought advised all his life but never got any until he only worked with James Hogan. Before James and after James Hogan, instead of receiving advice the author had to constantly fight for the right to exist. In 2010, the author has been asked to make a presentation of himself in "Virtual Alien", the story is set in a highly competitive and rotten world that is show business "A not-so fictional story about the tribulations of a virtual artist who is trying to survive in show-business and slowly discovers all the machinery that keeps him alive".

Synopsis

Two outlaws discover that they have been played and the only way to survive it is to rise above it all and dance. Two outcasts from society discover that they have been played by an unscrupulous world and the only way to survive it, is to rise above it all and dance the evil away even kill "it". One of the outcasts is threatening the other with a gun. They are having a violent interaction amongst the dancers. The dancers are the angels. They come to the rescue of the threatened outcast, by performing the “devil dance" conjuring the evil spirits. They surround the evil and the threatened outcast managed to remove the gun from his enemy and kill him. He has killed and he is evil too. The murdered outcast is lying on the floor and the dancers in turn bow down, in a sign of respect. The dancers toast to the dead wishing it a resurrection to a new being, pure and good. The ballet itself is a taken-on Britain's society in the 21st century and the desperation endured by some members of society too often ignored.
