Crime comedy based on the lives of immigrants in London. Four immigrants who lose their regular jobs during the great recession in London are lured in to crime. No jobs offered, they join a gang of criminals and start to con people. Things get out of hand when they are not able to finish a swindling task and they decide to quit the world of crime, but not before they pay off the gangs what they owed. They resort to more crime to pay off their debt and get dangerously involved with two international gangs operating in London. With the gangs on one hand and the Scotland Yard on the other, the gang of four team up to a solid plan that can settle all things. Things turnaround when this petty gang turn into vigilantes and help the police nail the dangerous gangs in the end bringing about the intrinsic theme of the movie that Crime never pays.

Synopsis

Four boys roam free through a neglected rural paradise in rural Wales during a long hot summer in the 1970s, untroubled by the adult world until tragedy strikes. Two of the boys are orphaned as their father murders their mother and, in turn, kills himself. The boys’ lives are shattered. Their older teenage brother is incapable of caring for them, and he becomes intent on revenge when he finds out that their mother was having an affair with a local farmer.
The story unfolds through the eyes of the brothers’ best friend, Davy, who persuades the orphans to run away with him rather than be taken into care. But as the adult world closes in on them, Davy takes it upon himself to fix the situation and armed with his wits and a loaded shotgun, goes out to tackle the problem head on.

In post-war England, journalist Stephen Underwood is keen to prove his worth. Working for a local newspaper he spends his days covering weddings and funerals while always on the lookout for a story that will catapult him into the big league. When he comes across the suicide of a Polish soldier from a nearby Displaced Persons Camp his journalistic instincts kick in, sensing something isn’t quite right, and his first port of call is to question Colonel Janusz Pietrowski, a Liaison Officer for the re-settlement of Polish troops under British command. Their meeting leaves Stephen unsettled – something just doesn’t quite ring true.
Stephen’s lover is Jeanette Mitchell, a Junior Commander in the Auxiliary Territorial Service working under Captain John Underwood, Stephen’s brother. Trapped in a marriage of convenience with a military intelligence officer, she shares Stephen’s dream of escape. It is during one of their clandestine meetings that Stephen witnesses a confrontation between a local farmer and Michael Loboda, a new arrival at the Camp, during which Loboda lets slip that he is Russian... not Polish.

Judith's new job allows her the opportunity to view and catalogue Roberta's work – archiving but learning her alchemical techniques as she delves deeper and deeper into her past.
Throughout her work Judith discovers a secret left on the cutting room floor – a mysterious woman who looks very much like herself. The woman is revealed to be Roberta's missing daughter Maddy, and who's presence is still very much felt throughout each frame of the unraveling archive. Roberta informs her 'That Maddy is coming home'.

Synopsis

Gemma and Will are shattered when their son dies in an accident. Gemma blames herself and starts to have panic attacks which affect her eyesight - and the audience's point of view. Will, tormented, believes he is hearing his son's voice calling out to him.
To escape their grief Gemma suggests they take up friend Paul's offer to stay at his Lake District country getaway. Gemma tries to stop her panic attacks with medication, aided by ex-pharmacist Paul. Will, now thinking that he is unable to hear to his son in his bedroom back home, antagonizes Paul and then suddenly returns home. Gemma becomes increasingly reliant on Paul who appears to be developing genuine feelings for her welfare.
Love, grief, and the frailty of the human condition are all brought to the fore as Gemma, Will and Paul are caught up in a descent into violence, both psychological and ultimately physical.
