A day in the life of Liverpool's madcap Potts family, in a boy meets girls tale with a difference. Social surrealism, written collaboratively by a community from Garston - south Liverpool.

In the UK suburbs, an underground tournament is set to challenge twelve fighters from different backgrounds to compete for the price of £500,000. They have been handpicked for a no-holds barred competition that will push each fighter to their limit. Each fighter has their own reason for competing, and each will give everything they've got to take the prize - but there can be only one winner.

Synopsis

Arriving without her husband for reasons that are at first unexplained, Anna enters the cosy world of a bourgeois family on holiday. In her mid-40s with no children of her own, Anna is unrelated to this extended family, which belongs to her old school friend Verena. 
 
Phone calls to her husband Alex reveal a rift in their marriage, hiding an unspoken sadness in both their lives. In a series of subtle ellipses, and with a deliberate avoidance of melodrama, we observe Anna as she rejects the company of the adults, in favour of the carefree teenagers. They seem to fill an empty space in her life. Through Anna's awkward attempts to join in with the teenagers' escapades, she unwittingly becomes the centre of a breakdown within the family, and finds herself shunned by everyone. She attempts to find solace through phone calls to her husband Alex but is met by jealousy and suspicion. 
 
Anna retreats to an anonymous hotel room, where Verena visits her, and Anna's untold story finally emerges. Her curious behaviour appears in a new light and she now has to pick up the pieces of her relationship with Alex.

Youths, Tashan and Cola, have followed young, drug dealer Vince into the tower block where Cola lives with his mum. Tashan suspects Vince is selling drugs to his cousin Clarice in return for sexual favours – in fact the case.

When Vince exits Clarice’s flat, Tashan confronts him in the corridor. They face off. Tashan misreads the signs and panics, stabbing Vince in the gut. This act of violence then sets off a chain of events which brings the violence back to the original perpetrator.
