Some say that there is a permanent and a temporary personality within a human being. A twisting walkabout in the worlds of separateness beyond dreams and reality. Unfolding with the logic of a dream, which can be interpreted but never explained. Punctuated by a series of occurrences that twist and turn where the lamb becomes the wolf.

Synopsis

The isolated mountainous region of Tusheti, in Northeast Georgia, is the site for a reflection on the importance of ritual, the maintenance of community ties, and how modernisation and migration are transforming rural landscapes. Shot over several years, Let Us Flow uses inovative audio-visual techniques to make visible the symbolic and physical division of sacred spaces within the community and offers a nuanced perspective on a culture where ancestral shrines are only accessible to men.
In a verdant mountainous region of Georgia, tradition and modernity intertwine. Carrying on the traditions of their ancestors, the men in the film race on horseback down mountains and across wide, expansive valleys in a performance of masculinity. The filmmaker states, “As the film progresses it becomes a film about distance: the twenty meter distance the Tushetian women have to observe from their shrines, the distance between me and my protagonists, between languages and translation.” Medoidze is never seen in front of the camera, made visible only through her voice. Yet even with this distance between her and her subjects the film, as shot from her perspective, makes for a truly immersive piece of observational filmmaking.

In 1968, art students Storm Thorgerson and Aubrey “Po” Powell made a trippy photo collage for their musician friends Syd, David and Roger. The resulting album and album cover, 'A Saucerful of Secrets', helped launch two careers: that of Pink Floyd, one of the 70s megabands, and of Hipgnosis, which, over the course of the next 25 years, designed a stream of iconic album covers. Photographer, filmmaker and designer Anton Corbijn fills his Hipgnosis history with case studies of album art from Pink Floyd’s 'Dark Side of the Moon', considered by many to be the greatest album art of all time, to Led Zeppelin’s mind-altering 'Houses of the Holy'. Fuelled by Powell's vivid storytelling, Corbijn captures the energy of a team making iconoclastic art amidst one of the most hedonistic eras in music history.

Finding the treasure might be the goal, yet her search is the catalyst for encounters with a series of characters and rarely visited buildings that reveal the story of Bawa’s life and work.

An animation series that draws attention to the collective amnesia of the 1922 Great Fire of Smyrna/Izmir by examining the urban park, Fuar, built on top of its ruins. An imaginative yet naive young boy devises a plan to pamper his drug addicted mother for a day - only for it to brutally backfire.

Synopsis

A famous old floating bookshop moored in King's Cross, Word On The Water, finds itself in desperate need of repair. Staffed by eccentric boaters such as Captain James, many of its crew and even patrons find themselves on the edge of society. Having previously survived numerous threats to their existence, their next issue isn't against legal threats or noise complaints, but entropy. After all, the Dutch Barge that is the bookbarge is around 100 years old and they have neglected vital maintenance.
The odds are stacked up against them: the boat has no working engine, they need to travel 30 miles to the repair shop and nobody knows the condition of the hull. To make matters worse their are planned lock closures and they keep on delaying their set-off date. Their captain is a French man, Stephen aka Noy (No-Eye), who has been tasked with masterminding the entire project single-handedly.
His solutions are unorthodox but they make headway. However, their disorganisation leads to issues. Over 6 months, its three owners find themselves pushed to the limits of their endurance. In the process they discover more about construction and friendship than they ever could have expected.
