TESTIMONY is a powerful documentary revealing the harrowing truth behind Ireland’s Magdalene Laundries and Mother & Baby Homes, where over 10,000 women and girls were confined between 1922 and 1996. Unmarried mothers, children of unmarried mothers, survivors of abuse, or those deemed “promiscuous” or burdensome were imprisoned, their lives shrouded in secrecy and shame.
The film chronicles the extraordinary efforts of Justice For Magdalenes, a small group of women lawyers, academics, and volunteers who fought tirelessly for recognition and justice for survivors. Their battle extended from the steps of the Irish parliament to the High Court and the United Nations. Alongside legal victories, the group spearheaded vital initiatives to preserve survivors' stories and ensure the atrocities they endured are never forgotten.
Through moving testimonies from survivors like Philomena Lee, Elizabeth Coppin, and Mary Harney, the documentary exposes the devastating impact of these institutions while showcasing the survivors’ resilience and the ongoing fight for accountability.
A story of resistance, hope, and the unwavering pursuit of justice, reminding us that the past must never be erased.

Synopsis

In a dead-end town in the East of England Jayce, a young man, is released from prison after serving time for a crime he didn't commit. Looking for answers, Jayce returns home only to become embroiled in a scheme to sell a large amount of cannabis grown in a garden shed by Kev, the elderly neighbour of his childhood friend, Paula.
The young people form an unlikely alliance with the old man and manage to sell the weed to a disarmingly-friendly dealer. But this attracts the attention of two local dimwit hoodlums who notice a dent in their trade and immediately suspect the odd thruple.
Jayce finally learns the truth about his incarceration: he was framed by his ex-best friend and leader of the local dimwits, Lee. Jayce, Paula and Kev are kidnapped by the two hoodlums hoping to usurp Lee's position. Lee, meanwhile, is disinherited by his father and switches allegiance to rescue the trio, seeking (and gaining) redemption for his framing of Jayce.
Looking for a new start, Jayce leaves town on his dream motorbike – purchased with the money from the weed deal. He leaves behind him a new 'family' in the shape of Paula, Kev and Lee.

KING OF THE APOCALYPSE takes us into the heart of the American militia movement with Dakota Adams, the de-radicalized son of Stewart Rhodes – founder of the Oath Keepers who is now serving 18 years in prison for his role in the January 6 United States Capitol attack in 2021. With exclusive access to Rhodes, and framed by the unique perspective of his estranged family, we tell the story of the enigmatic militant leader’s origins, his turbulent family life, and his descent into paranoia and extremism.
With Rhodes in prison, even more radical militia leaders are emerging, such as Mike Dunn of the Boogaloo Bois, who believes that January 6 was just a dress rehearsal for the real civil war that's coming. Synopsis

Kate is feeling frustrated with her life, her mental health is also not helping as she keep getting seizures and visions of someone who looks just like her. Her double’s name is Hannah and she is all that Kate has ever aspired to be: a successful executive in a huge pharmaceutical company. One night, Kate is overcome by dizziness and she wakes up on Hannah’s floor. Hannah’s brother Jack arrives, Kate tries to explain that she is not Hannah, but Jack is convinced that his sister is having one of her psychotic episodes. Later that night she encounters a scientist called Doctor Solomon, who explains to her that in a mysterious way Hannah managed to switch their dimension to save herself from an attempt murder. He promises Kate her that if she finds out who tried to murder Hannah he will be able to return them both to their own worlds. Kate assumes Hannah’s identity so that she can catch the murderer. It dawns on her that she has several strong suspects: an addicted brother, an abusive boyfriend and a harasser boss.

The film represents a journey of a woman overcoming fear of not being accepted: starting from her desire to correspond to societal female standards, through admitting that she always felt as a weirdo and looking for an outside validation, to understanding that she does not need people who do not love her as she is and finally to accepting that she is ‘not normal’ and that the only acceptance she needs is the self-acceptance.
