Did you ever have a friend who made a huge impact on your life but you never got to thank them for it? Our story takes the varying points of view of one man who was best friends with everyone he ever met. You were never given the opportunity to be depressed when you were in his company. In turn, his own insecurities led him to never want to be left alone. This is the emotional foundation of our existence; connecting to other people. The untold story of the anarchic unsung hero of alternative comedy and the man who made it all happen. Malcolm Hardee, a man who had no fear, wanted to be famous and recognised but would always go too far with bizarre stunts that he pulled for attention and so the industry didn’t take him very seriously. After drowning in the River Thames aged 55, an epic funeral was held in his native home in Greenwich, London. Not until everybody was brought together for the last time that they realised the role that he’d played in their lives, and the hole that he’d left behind and that his greatest comedy routine had been his entire life.

Damascus as a neo art form. A thirst for abstraction at a time when immediacy and simultaneity – culminating in the multiple strand captioning of TV news screens, or the instant feedback of Twitter, tyrannical demands, forcing aesthetic sensibilities to seek new ways of slowing down. As they float through a plastic representation of time-space (blank as Richard Hell) we need a way to associate their blankness to action as it eases us to a pseudo-understanding of a mindless state we only observe. Damascus as an end to mindwash religion, nowhere politics and bogus philosophy. The first film is the visual film. A waltz through the night of city that transcends itself. Three principals enacting the dance to death of relationships, plurality and urban living. The visual element of the project flows through time and arches through experience that answers nobodies' questions. It is disorientating: both musically and formally. Experience is placed front and centre, whether that be disconnection or sexual release. Best invoked by the term Psychogeography/ Which was defined in 1955 by Guy Debord as "the study of the precise laws and specific effects of the geographical environment, consciously organized or not, on the emotions and behavior of individuals."

'Unwell' chronicles the descent into madness of award-winning BBC foreign correspondent Malcolm Brabant after he receives a routine yellow fever vaccine required for an assignment in Africa. After enduring a near fatal fever, he begins hallucinating and starts to believe he is the new Messiah. During this Jesus complex, he believes he is being directed by the ghosts of dead friends who, like him, covered the siege of Sarajevo. The psychosis disappears after six weeks, but Brabant suffers several relapses. The most significant one is captured on camera by Brabant himself as he is convinced the Second Coming has to be on television. This unique footage is supplemented by video diaries recorded by Brabant's Danish wife Trine Villemann, in order to document his transformation. Brabant's condition deteriorates and he spends months locked up in secure wards. The film is a paean to love and family bonds and contains an unexpected Hollywood ending.

Ales is a lonely thirty-something misfit who spends her days drinking, signing on at the job centre and watching TV. This routine is interrupted when she witnesses a student called Jenny being attacked by a gang of youths. The scene stirs up painful childhood memories of her abusive father and Alex chooses not to intervene. When she discovers that Jenny has been left in a coma as a result of the attack, Alex is plagued by guilt. Drinking heavily and growing increasingly angry that youths have not been caught, Alex decides that she will try to find them herself. Her initial attempts to find the gang do not go well, but upon hearing that Jenny is set to make a full recovery, she doubles her efforts. Writing everything down in her diary, she embarks on a rigorous training regime, fashions her own homemade body armour and turns herself into the masked vigilante, ‘Nobody Girl’.
