Between 1968 and 1972, the world watched in awe each time an American spacecraft voyaged to the Moon. Only 12 men walked upon its surface and they remain the only human beings to have stood on another world. In the Shadow of the Moon brings together for the first, and very possibly the last time, surviving crew members from every single Apollo mission which flew to the Moon, and allows them to tell their story in their own words. Incapacity follows the journey of Mally, stuck in a job he can’t stand, with people he has no connections with. This begins to change when he meets Gabriel, a man who lives his life not following the rules, not following the crowd, a man who appears to have all the connections. Could Gabriel hold the answers that Mally is looking for? Or maybe, he just likes to do a lot of drugs.

A beautiful young mother lives in a concrete tower block - and wistfully watches the convivial life of good looking Jasper Black who lives across the road in a 'Georgian gem'. When her husband Lenny and their four-year-old boy go to an Arsenal football match one afternoon, she picks Jasper up in a local pub and brings him back to her flat for sex. During their encounter the TV plays footage of the football match which is suddenly ripped apart by a massive explosion, killing her husband and son. In the aftermath, struggling to deal with her guilt and grief, the young mother finds herself becoming closer to Terrence, the police officer in charge of the investigation and close friend of her dead husband. Unable to accept what has happened, she steals CCTV footage from Terrence and watches her family over and over again in the moments before their death. Her intense grief is matched by Jasper’s obsession with finding out who the bombers were.

Did your mother ever tell you not to talk to strangers? John’s mother did. It’s just that over the years, as he became an adult, he forgot - John walks into his garage and gets into his car. His ordinary life, however, is about to get extraordinary and - end. One of Lucifer’s minions, the Collector, is waiting for him in the car. The Collector shows him scenes from his life. John sees himself rape and murder his daughter and then kill his wife. He then sees the fateful meeting with Lucifer, before finally being ‘collected’. But maybe ‘Old Nick’ has one last trick to play!
