Synopsis

This film depicts the harrowing effect of climate change on the lives of girls and women globally, and features over 400 pieces of handmade artwork from 150 refugee and marginalised women in 17 Commonwealth countries worldwide and climate activists, these were created during ARTconnects workshops. The film calls for climate justice and presents personal accounts of how women and girls lives are directly being affected by climate change.
The film raises awareness of the devastating impacts climate change has on the globe, as well as promote diversity and spark meaningful discussions on this human rights issue to promote cohesion.

You know, I’ve got to the age where I want to settle down and stop jumping from relationship to relationship every few weeks, but everyone I meet is so immature which I thought wouldn’t be the case now. Know what I mean? What do you do for a job? Ah no way! I love animation! That’s so interesting! Anything I’ve seen? I’ve always wondered what it would be like to be an animator! Bet it’s so fun. I think Pixar is my favourite, that film with the cars is just so damn funny! And Shrek! I almost forget that’s animation, just amazing how people come up with this stuff and make those characters so believable! Is that the sort of stuff you do? Can I see?

Synopsis

Synopsis

Having retired to bed early to prepare for a dawn ascent, Kelly is woken by the screams of her co-climber Sophie, who had stayed up to enjoy a smoke with a group of men they had met earlier.
Desperate to get to her friend, Kelly runs deep into the forest using the night vision from her camera to guide the way. She arrives just in time to see Sophie’s lifeless body being thrown from a ledge, a horror she captures on camera. As she turns to leave, the men hear Kelly below and give chase. Charles’ life and work are examined by those who knew him best, as well by a whole new generation of fans from across the world who have been inspired by the legacy he left behind.

Carol Wyss is a visual artist using printmaking, drawing and photography to create the components for her installations. She is on a concerted search for the structure of things – deconstructing existing and creating new discernible patterns. Recognizing patterns is crucial to humans, helping understand and predict what is coming.
