Synopsis

Based on a novel of the same name by Stephen King. Combining elements of psychological horror and romance, main character Lisey (depicted as a puppet) is pulled between worlds of imagination, reality and fantasy as metaphors communicate the character’s emotional and psychological states.

This stop-motion animated film uses an original origami dog design and paper shapes to interpret the unique and universal experiences of dog ownership and loss. The narrative and narration comes from supporters of the project who lent their stories and voices to the film. The film's title and design makes the connection between memory/routine and the patterns and creases left on a piece of paper when we unfold an origami model.
