What happens when a population loses trust in its police and authorities? There is a new phenomenon happening in India today - the boom of the private detective. Poisonings, adultery, fraud and the occasional murder - such are the day to day investigations of Kolkata's Bengali Detective - Rajesh Ji.

Shot on location at the world famous music festival 'T in the Park', American pop star Adam, and minor British rock chick Morello, are playing at the same music festival. The only other thing they have in common is their mastery of sarcastic wisecracks so when they meet backstage, the sparks inevitably fly. As their childish spat escalates, a mischievous preacher, who happens to be passing by, handcuffs them together as punishment, before disappearing in to the crowd with the only key.

All attempts to break free are thwarted as the prospect of performing on stage in handcuffs together becomes a reality, never mind the prospect of having to go to sleep side by side later that night.

Respective band mates and romantic partners are caught in the crossfire but can only look on as Adam and Morello begin to realise there is no escape.

In 2004, aged UK punk rocker - Johnny Jones of the famed Welsh 80's band 'The Weapons Of Happiness' - hoodwinked top record labels, radio DJ's, and the entire rock music world by releasing his new punk-pop single under a fictitious band name.

After being rejected by his former record label for being too old, Johnny passes off the single to a Radio DJ and says it's by a young, unknown Welsh rock band he is managing. Much to everyone's surprise, it receives immediate air play. Johnny and his old band assemble a rowdy bunch of teenagers to be the face of the song and through the process teach them how to have true punk rock spirit.

The emotional core of the film centers on Johnny's relationship with his wife, Jules - an aged groupie who feels the heavy hands of her biological clock ticking away. The film chronicles this outlandish moment in music history from Johnny's point of view, and recounts his tumultuous journey with his wife.
