An old farmer works his land like he always has, though his powers are waning. He loves his flock and his farm, even though the work is gruelling, and the seasons are getting harder to weather. He’s tied to the land that his forefathers farmed before him. But who will he leave it to in turn, when the time finally does come, for him to let go? His son and his daughter are both unfit, in their own ways, to take over. His daughter knows farming, but she doesn’t know sacrifice. His son’s only interest in the farm is as a property to sell, not as a repository of a family’s history, a lineage of their connection to the land. His children bicker over this inheritance, while he quietly, stoically, phlegmatically, with what is left of his powers, continues his long indentureship to the land.

On average, an adult makes about 35,000 conscious decisions each day. Harvey Greenfield struggles with every single one.
Harvey is a middle-aged office drone with a knack for always being in the wrong place at the wrong time. He breaks the fourth wall to release his unstoppable nervous energy and invites the audience to bear witness the ridiculously hectic schedule that lies before him; an important meeting at his failing publishing company, purchasing a second-hand car, his best friend - who he barely knows - is getting married, he’s overdue a visit to his guilt-trip champion of a mother, an unknown number keeps calling to say someone has died, Alice - his girlfriend, a primary school teacher with bold stage aspirations - is debuting her latest masterpiece, and more. Harvey’s double whammy of mortal fears - making choices and letting people down - means he can’t help but take it all on in one day.
The film, adapted from the critically acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe show, follows this indecisive people pleaser running late for the world's busiest day as his misguided decisions escalate towards a single choice that risks everything he holds dear.
