A powerful and emotional documentary short film that follows the lives of three courageous women who were forced to leave their home country of Ukraine due to ongoing conflict and war. Through this film, the director wanted to shed light on the experiences of Ukrainian incredibly strong and resilient women. They were forced to leave their homes, their families, and their country in search of a safe place for their children. It wasn't an easy decision, but it was one that they had to make for the survival.
Through these stories, we see the struggles they faced in a new country, language barriers, and cultural differences. But we also see the beauty of women's spirit, as they find the strength to rebuild their lives no matter what. Their stories are not just about the war, but also about hope and resilience.

An old farmer works his land like he always has, though his powers are waning. He loves his flock and his farm, even though the work is gruelling, and the seasons are getting harder to weather. He’s tied to the land that his forefathers farmed before him. But who will he leave it to in turn, when the time finally does come, for him to let go? His son and his daughter are both unfit, in their own ways, to take over. His daughter knows farming, but she doesn’t know sacrifice. His son’s only interest in the farm is as a property to sell, not as a repository of a family’s history, a lineage of their connection to the land. His children bicker over this inheritance, while he quietly, stoically, phlegmatically, with what is left of his powers, continues his long indentureship to the land.
