Every machine offers you the chance to enter the world of the game and choose your own unique journey. As you guide your avatar through a world ravaged by endless war, there are many routes you can take and there are many different outcomes. You can choose a side, win or lose the war, search out a more peaceful route, or join a cult promising a better version of reality. Where will your decisions lead you? Using the nostalgic 8-bit aesthetic of 1980s video games, ARCADE’s interactive narrative explores the evolving relationship between players and avatars. This choose-your-own-path experience will fully immerse players in alternate environments in a completely dark shipping container, using 360 degree binaural sound and sensory effects. Synopsis

Retired scientist Arthur has been working on a youth reviving elixir for decades. One night he finally manages to perfect his creation, partly by accident - but before he can share the news with his wife Joan, Arthur is struck down by lightning and his secret formula dies with him. During the sad process of going through Arthur's things, Joan, and her friends, Linda and Susan, come across a small stock of the elixir in the garden shed. They try it out and start to enjoy being young again... which of course also comes with its own complications.

Band members are open with their memories and archives, charting their origins as Kent State University arts students shaped by the activism of the late 1960s. Following the 1970 massacre on their campus, the band’s concept of cultural “De-Evolution” turned from satirical humor to urgent social commentary, and what began as subversive counterprogramming to KSU’s 1973 arts festival would go on to warn of, comment on, and reflect back the absurdism of the late 20th century.
