Revealing ancient artefacts, folk costumes, rare archive film, and Augmented Reality magick. The AR app guides visitors on a walk through the beautiful local countryside neat Folkestone. Using geo-located video clips and sound, the expedition takes them from Newington to Summerhouse Hill, for a chance to summon the elephant.
Haunted by unanswered questions about himself, Olly journeys through his past. His story unfolds in two starkly contrasting realms: the raw simplicity of his childhood, captured in his own drawings, and the fluid, surreal world of his dreams. Edith’s journey begins with a visit to a remote Scottish island in the hope a gifted clairvoyant can provide some much-needed answers.

As you explore the house, you discover the history of a couple who lived there. They have returned to their deserted home to tidy up the secrets they hold from each other.
The work is both a closed loop and a story that unfolds progressively. The order in which you explore the rooms opens up different interpretations. A vivid cinematic work that follows the logic of dreams as you wander through the debris of a relationship breakdown.

Constantinopoliad is an expanded documentary and installation that centers around the collective reading of a hand-made book. A response to the archive of the poet Constantine Cavafy, the story is inspired by the blank and torn out pages in “Constantinopoliad, an epic”, the journal the teenage Cavafy began when he and his family fled Alexandria; by lost and missing queer archives through time; and by the ghosts, both erotic and historical, that visit the older Cavafy in his poems.

An immersive 360 film, based on letters home written by two Cornish Boys from west Cornwall, who emigrated to Australia in 1864. The recently discovered letters, which provide the inspiration, overarching visual motif and compelling lyrics of the piece, cry out with homesickness, loneliness and separation, and the everyday challenges and triumphs of their pioneering life in an evolving nation. The boys had their mining and farming skills to fall back on; they also brought their culture too, particularly their deep chapel faith.
The Cornish Diaspora of the 19th century saw 250,000 people leave Cornwall, fleeing poverty and seeking opportunities across the globe. Approximately 10% of the population of South Australia, and over 3% of Australia as a whole, has significant Cornish ancestry and the settlement of the areas within of South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales are sometimes referred to as ‘Little Cornwall’.
