Constantinopoliad is an expanded documentary and installation that centers around the collective reading of a hand-made book. A response to the archive of the poet Constantine Cavafy, the story is inspired by the blank and torn out pages in “Constantinopoliad, an epic”, the journal the teenage Cavafy began when he and his family fled Alexandria; by lost and missing queer archives through time; and by the ghosts, both erotic and historical, that visit the older Cavafy in his poems.

After Levi descends into old ways he returns to the city finding himself in familiar company. It isn't long before old enemies return to finish the unfinished. Levi delves deeper into the woods where the fragility of his psyche is fully realised. He finds he cannot outrun himself .

The film is inspired by Isaac Julien’s TERRITORIES, made with Sankofa Film and Video Collective in 1984. While Julien catalogues the antagonistic relationship between Black community and the police at Notting Hill Carnival, NEW TERRITORIES considers the role of spectatorship turned consumerism in laying the ground in which Black and Caribbean identities are defined.

Newlyweds Jeremy and Norah have recently moved to Ashford, Kent, where they’re trying to start a family, guided by their friendly and punctual fertility app, Try-cycle. Norah, a teacher in a local school, is deeply immersed in the news and social media landscapes, finding validation and purpose through her online interactions. Meanwhile Jeremy, a doctor in a London hospital, yearns for a life less impacted by the plight of others, seeking technology to numb himself from modern day life through the dopamine hits of swipes and likes.
As both local and international events take place with direct implications for the couple, Jeremy prefers not to know what is happening, choosing not to read the news at all. But Norah does, a lot. As Norah consumes more and more news, eventually, will it consume her?
In a world more globally linked than ever, this thrilling psychological drama explores the role of empathy, where the couple's social media consumptions, communities and world views, differ drastically.
